Hydrogen
STB GmbH has been working and testing more and more on hydrogen in the last few years. Many manufacturers have approached us for a reliable sealing solution in the field of mechanical seals and labyrinth seals. Intensive test work has led to far-reaching and safe solutions, which are already proving themselves in the field on a daily basis. We offer mechanical seals for hydrogen applications. These are mainly used in compressors (compressors and process gas compressors) or pumps. As a result, we have developed a product series for the use of a mechanical seal for hydrogen in a compressor or a mechanical seal for hydrogen in a pump. We call this series Hydroseal. Complex systems to operate these seals safely for hydrogen are developed, manufactured and tested in-house.
