Immersion Roller Seals
Immersion rollers and deflection rollers are machine components used in the steel industry. They are used in the finishing of sheet metal webs:

The immersion roller is immersed in liquids as it passes through the sheet metal webs, which has a dwell time within the process and is flushed with a large amount of working fluid throughout.
The shaft journals are guided to the outside through the container wall and must be sealed down to the atmosphere and stored. For this purpose, submersible roller seals with elastomer bellows are used. These bellows provide the necessary preload for the mechanical seal.
This submersible roller mechanical seal is impressive due to its simple installation and high robustness.
