Aceton
Acetone is a colourless liquid and is often used as a solvent. The aggregate state of acetone is liquid and can be pumped easily. STB GmbH has developed, with its ProSiron mechanical seal, an adept and standardized cartridge seal for a safe sealing process. We mainly use this as a double seal with an API 53 A, for example through a TS 9 16. Here, the contamination of the environment by leakage is reduced to an absolute minimum. Designed mostly in the material combination Carbon vs SiC – Carbon vs SiC, it offers a long-lasting solution for safe operation.
