Component Seals
A wide range of component seals, up to a diameter of 100 mm, are kept on stock and are available on short notice. This allows us to service the customer as quick as possible. The effect is that the customer is able to reduce its stock to a minimum, which results in less invested capital and space needed for stocks. For special requirements, designers and field engineers will assist you at any time, to find the right solution for your application.

Component mechanical seals are the simplest design of mechanical seals and are commonly used as a better alternative to dynamical packing systems. Due to the easier maintenance, longer lifetime, products saving (pumped water, oil, etc.), cost effective and many other advantages, companies decide to make use of this type of seal. The design of a single component mechanical seal can include the following components: stationary seal face, dynamical seal face, springs, O-rings and steel parts. The construction in length, pressure resistance, and diameter can vary. STB manufactures and offers many different types of component mechanical seals.
